10-Day Meditation Teacher Training – Opening Day

OPENING CEREMONY

Today was the introduction session for the new Meditation Teacher Training at our Rishikesh centre of Satyam Shivam Sundaram Meditation School. Students from all over the world signed up and participated in this gathering of love, devotion and spirituality to learn and become future Meditation Masters under the guidance and mentorship of Shiva Girish, a modern age Tantra Yoga Meditation Master.

It took a whole day to make all the preparations to welcome new students who were arriving from countries like the United Kingdom, Brazil, India, Israel, Palestine and Germany. The meditation at Satyam Shivam Sundaram Meditation School was decorated with decorative lights, flowers and butter lamps to create a perfect ambience and atmosphere for a successful start to the Meditation Teacher Training. India is the home of spirituality and Rishikesh is an ideal place to explore the reality and purity of life and get rid of all the bad energy and thoughts that pull one down in life.

The session started with normal introduction where each student introduced themselves to the rest of the Teacher Training students. It was then followed by a dance meditation which started with loosening of the body and warming up of different chakras in the body. The meditation hall was soon filled with immense pure energy and vibes and the students couldn’t wait for the training to start as soon as possible. With smiles on their face and full of enthusiasm in their heart, everyone said good night to each other only to see each other again the next morning.

This is the power of meditation that brings everyone together regardless of their cultural, ethnic and personal background and unites us all as one.
